Mekong Delta: Sa Dec - Can Tho - Ca Mau - Bac Lieu - Soc Trang

Tourists gather at Vietravel Company (190 Pasteur, District 3, HCMC) to visit Tien Giang and have lunch at Meking Rest Stop. After that, tourists visit Sa Dec and admire My Thuan Bridge - The first suspension bridge in Vietnam, the pride of the people in the Mekong Delta. When visiting Sa Dec, the group visits Kien An Cung Pagoda - this is an ancient pagoda of the Chinese people built 100 years ago. It has unique architecture, and it is recognized as a national historic relic by Ministry of Culture. Then tourists visit Huynh Thuy Le Ancient House - a house of a rich man in Sa Dec, who had romance with a Frech female writers, Marguerite Duras, author of “The Lovers” (L’Amant), a famous work made into film. In the afternoon, tourists visit Can Tho and Phuong Nam Temple - the largest temple in Mekong Delta. Then tourists visit Drum Tower, Campanile and Buddhist ceremony in the Main Hall. The Temple was built with traditional gracious architecture. Tourists will be impressed with ironwood furnitures and precious wood types brought from South Africa, especially the Buddha statue made from precious cedar wood with diameter of 2m. Then, the group visits My Khanh Tourist Area - an attractive Ecotourist attraction with fun traditional games such as: fishing, rowing, pig racing, etc., and visits Ancient House. After having dinner, tourists can freely go for a walk to Ninh Kieu Wharf and enjoy coffee and the cool wind from Hau River, or walk on Ninh Kieu Footbridge - an S-shaped bridge accoss Khai Luong Canal and connecting Ninh Kieu Wharf to Con Cai Khe. The bridge has two lotus statues and LED system controlled by different scenarios, which brings a vivid and modern beauty. Tourists spend the night in Can Tho.

In the morning, tourists visits Nam Can. After arriving the wharf, tourists visit Dat Mui on canoes. On the way there, tourists can admire Phan Ngoc Hien Statue - a construction in memory of Hon Khoai revolution led by Phan Ngoc Hien. After arriving Dat Mui, the groups visits Mui Ca Mau Cuture Tourism Park located in the Mui Ca Mau World Biosphere Reverse recognized by UNESCO in May 2009. Tourists can admire the majestic beauty of vast mangrove forest and the blue sky through the Observatory. Then, the tourists continue to visit National Coordinate Landmark and the Bow. In the afternoon, the group returns Bac Lieu to visit Tac Say Church (Father Truong Buu Diep Church). In the evening, tourists can freely go for a walk and enjoy specialties such as sour, spicy and pleasing Turnip Cake or Vietnamese Crepe at longan garden, etc. Then, tourists spend the night in Bac Lieu.

Tourists have breakfast and check out from the hotel. The car drives tourists to visit and take photo at Hung Vuong Square with the stylised moon-shaped lute - the indispensable instrument in Don Ca Tai Tu, a cutural symbol of Bac Lieu province and Cao Van Lau Theatre (Conical hat theatre) - the heart of the Square. The group returns to Ho Chi Minh City and visits Soc Trang, Ma Toc Pagoda (Bat Pagoda) - built 400 years ago as a shelter of thousands of bats. After that, the group visits Clay Pagoda. The pagoda not only stands out with its hundreds of clay statues and the clay covered pillar, but it is also famous with its three candles, two of which are covered with 200kg of wax, the other pair is covered with 100 kg of wax. They have been lit for over 40 years but still have not gone out. Tourists have lunch in Can Tho. Then the group returns to Ho Chi Minh City.
